Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Procurement Outreach Program (POP)

It is the intent of the Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Procurement Outreach Program (POP) to attempt to help increase the flow of local, state, and federal government contract and subcontract dollars, as well as Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant (or even contract), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant (or even contract), and U.S. Department of Defense-funded instrument [e.g., Other Transaction (OT)] dollars to Nevada businesses.

As part of its no-charge service offerings, the Nevada PTAC attempts to assist its official clients to understand the requirements of government contracting when pursuing the above government-related awards, to help them market their businesses to government agencies and prime contractors, and to aid them to compete for government contracts, subcontracts, etc. The Nevada PTAC also provides guidance to its clients, so they can successfully perform and execute their government-related awards. Based on the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nevada PTAC has also hosted online/virtual webinars featuring local, state, and federal government personnel and government prime contractor personnel and PTAC team members to discuss government contracting and/or subcontracting. All of these webinars have included direct contact information to allow for networking ! with such personnel after each webinar.

As a requirement of its cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense, and in an effort to continuously improve its services, the Nevada PTAC gathers important survey feedback from its official clients and others for a previous timeframe. In this case, the previous timeframe is July 1, 2022-July 31, 2022. [The Nevada PTAC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA); DLA invites you to see their separate feedback form at https://www.dla.mil/smallbusiness/ptapfeedback/.] Please see the bottom of this email for the direct link to the Nevada PTAC survey. The survey, that can be accessed below, needs to be completed by September 2, 2022.
