Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development's (GOED's) Nevada PTAC: The award-winning Nevada PTAC team is looking to backfill two (2) team member positions in its Carson City, NV office! Carson City, which is the state's capital city, is located near Reno, NV. Counseling from the Nevada PTAC: For those company representatives who have read the Nevada PTAC's linked informational flyer on its webpage, who have completed the PTAC's client questionnaire form also on its webpage, and who have been formally accepted into the PTAC program as a client, please note that aside from PTAC-provided counseling via videoconference, phone, and email, one is welcome to in-person counseling from one's assigned PTAC Government Contracts Advisor based in the Las Vegas office location on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Please pre-coordinate with one's assigned advisor for a counseling session at the location.


Free Nevada PTAC-Led Webinars Featuring Formal PTAC Clients as Presenters and Other Training Programming: If you or someone you know may be interested in attending Nevada PTAC-led webinars featuring formal PTAC clients as presenters such as the President, CEO of Live Electric Inc. and the Owner of Polymath Solutions, LLC, who will each talk about their respective government contracting or subcontracting journeys, please see the linked flyer below for details. The flyer also shares training to be provided on the "Capabilities Statement" for the public sector and even training on resources specifically for veteran-owned businesses. These virtual webinar presentations, which are presented at no charge, are designed for Nevada businesses, especially small businesses, to learn more about government/public sector contracting.

In-Person Opportunity Event for Nevada Businesses to be Connected with Local Buyers: The Institute for Supply Management (ISM)-Nevada will be again holding its Supplier Opportunity Fair on May 11, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Pearson Community Center, 1625 West Carey Ave., North Las Vegas, NV 89032. As seen on ISM-Nevada's website, this event is a reverse trade fair where the buyers are in the booth and you have them as a captive audience, you can make a month's worth of sales calls in a few hours especially if your customer base has changed because of the economy, you can attend the event because of interest in doing more business in Las Vegas, and you can also attend if you are tired of driving across town and not being able to meet with the buyer. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with purchasing personnel from government ! agencies and companies throughout Nevada. A Free In-Person Opportunity Event for Nevada Small Businesses to Meet with a Variety of Resource Organizations: A Nevada Small Business Fair will be held on May 4, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sahara West Library, 9600 West Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89117. The goal for this free, one-stop resource fair is for many resource organizations to support the success of Nevada's small businesses and entrepreneurs by bringing together comprehensive resources, information, and available tools.
